1936 CORD 810 WESTCHESTER. A full classic according to the Classic Car Club of America. When we think of the most unique American car with the the best lines ever, we think of the Cord 810 and 812. This Cord was sold in Canada where it resided until we purchased it. Body is incredible with no rust, straight panels, and exceptional paint. Even the bottom of the doors do not show any issues. The interior is gorgeous with every detail attended to. The chrome, glass, locks, hinges, and all the small parts are correct and in top condition. We just finished putting in a $12,000 rebuilt updated transmission and we put in a rebuilt clutch. We installed a correct heater. The V8 engine runs with authority, the transmission shifts just as it should, the suspension is smooth and the car is fitted with Bendix brakes, so it stops very well. The wiring is correct and there are no electrical issues. There are no shortcuts made in getting this car ready. This is the second Cord we have owned, with the first one now residing in the Heritage Museum at the Sandwich Plantation in New England. We offer no auction hype, no salesmen, just a small number of exceptionally clean sorted unique cars for your review.
