1936 Cord Westchester. Sometimes these Cords are beautiful but run poorly. Others run well but have a lot of body issues. This Cord is the exception! It is extensively restored and very well sorted. It was bought at a Sotheby's Auction and it had many electrical and mechanical issues. Over the last few years, we here at Rallye Import Auto have corrected all the issues, hidden and obvious. We have installed a rebuilt transmission that was built by Bill Bicknell, the electrical has been all updated and professionally converted to 12 volts using a look alike generator / alternator. The brakes have been rebuilt and updated with improved brakes from a 1937 Cord. The front drive axles have been replaced with a perfect set of improved design units from a 1937 Cord. All parts used other than the generator, tires and wiring harness are factory made original equipment parts. It has recent tires. This Cord shows well, starts with authority, drives as well or better than new, stops and steers easily, and never misses a shift. Turn signals and extra brake lights are added, but easily unbolted for original appearance. The underside is very clean and has no rust. The wiring harness is correctly made and the lights are bright and the heater works well. The interior is correct and exceptionally clean. This car features a factory radio delete set up. In one of the glove boxes there is a shift recognition box that has indicator lights that show what gear the Cord is in. This is your chance to own a recognized FULL CLASSIC that is ready to go. We invite you to come to Midland Michigan to see this Cord. It is in our heated storage. Contact Dale at 989-835-4430
