1956 Citroen 2CV It's baaack. We call this car "Dorian gray" We sold this car to a family that is involved in international business with Dow Chemical. Their busy lifestyle and their moving from place to place made this 2CV available to me again. I love this car and want to make absolutely sure it goes to the right home, so here it is. This is a hotrod 2CV, It features an upgraded 650cc air cooled 2 cylinder engine, a 4 speed manual transmission that drives through the front wheels. It is actually a 1956 ripple bonnet body on an upgraded 1980 chassis. It has no rust and has no issues. The paintwork is excellent, the Italian leather interior is pristine. The suspension can be adjusted in a few minutes to go to the low mean look or up to the conventional look. The 650cc engine will power this car up to highway speeds in a hurry and it can be driven on the freeway all day long. It offers many unusual features including a special AM radio (it works), a St Christopher medal ashtray, driving lights, stop watch, original real 1956 Monte Carlo Rallye placards (they were however on a Ford in 1956), a real Monte Carlo badge, Q ball shifter, electronic ignition, a special tachometer, additional turn signals, halogen lights, heavy duty 12 volt alternator, and Citroen disc brakes. The actual mileage is unknown. We know Citroens and this car has benefited from our careful professional sorting. We know it is a one of a kind and we hope you appreciate it as much as we do.
