1956 CITROEN 2CV Resto-Mod. A very Unique and well sorted one of a kind. This 2CV is named "Dorian Gray". Featuring a 1956 ripple bonnet, suicide door 1956 body on a 1980 2CV-6 chassis, and everything is really Citroen. Titled as a 1980. No rust and no issues. 650cc engine built by Burton in Holland, full leather interior from Italy, new exhaust, new tires, excellent roll back two position top. The engine, clutch, brakes, steering, and electrical, and engine are fully sorted and running as new. The engine is a work of art, true to it's 2CV roots, performing well enough to get this car to 75 MPH and cruse at 70+ all day long. Many unusual features are; special AM radio (works) , St Christopher's medal ash tray, driving lights, stop watch, original 1956 Monte Carlo Rallye placards (real, but they were on a Ford in 1956), a real Monte Carlo Badge, Michelin guide books, Air France luggage. Q ball shifter, electronic ignition, special tachometer, additional turn signal lights, halogen headlights, heavy duty 12 volt alternator, first aid kit The front brakes are Citroen disc brakes. Best of all, there is a book with all kinds of receipts, sales brochures, owners manual and records for the car. All the import documentation is there as well as a legal valid USA title. The suspension can be lowered in a few minutes to give a sinister stance, but we run it up almost to the factory setting to give a good ride on our terrible Michigan roads.
